Hiking on the famous ancient Carian trail
Guided hiking holidays in Turkey, stunning vieuws on the Carian trail. Turkey’s longest hiking trail.
The Carian trail is the longest hiking trail in Turkey, 840 kilometers of hiking paths with stunning vieuws from the crystal clear blue seas and green mountains and valleys. On our way lot’s of ancient city’s and many places where you can take stunning pictures to bring home with you!
Old versus new
On the Carian trail you are walking on footpaths from over 2000 years old ,Bigger stoned roads , sandy paths and small donkey paths and beaches will be used to hike on .In 2013 the Carian trail has become an official trail in the books of Turkey. You will see modern places as well as ancient ruins on your way
Wear hiking shoes and a bandana or cap on your head It is not possible to wear sportshoes on our hiking trails because most of the terrain is rough so you need some grip.Bring a backpack near you so you can bring some water and food with you as we walk around 10-15 km a day..
On some of our trials you will find water fountains .This is natural spring water and very healthy to drink ! So we can fill up our bottles to carry near us.
Care for each other
As we hike with a few people or a small group we take care about each other and it is forbidden to leave the group whilst hiking. We will have enough time to make pictures on the way.
Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our clients say:
